The Bull & Gate is, quite literally, next door to the venue and is a usual meeting place for gigs there. However, it's not a huge pub which means it gets absolutely rammed.

The FFS stuff was excellent. Sparks continue to innovate - that's why I love them.

I thought Achoo worked really well because the drums / bass / guitar(s) accompaniment really suited it. No 1 Song ...

I do however remember them being supported by a band called Sailor who had a hit with 'January'.
That was Scottish band Pilot. Sailor had hits like 'A Glass of Champagne' and 'Girls Girls Girls'
