I bought both the album and the single. I remember that I Love You For Your Mind (Not Your Body) was Noel Edmonds' record of the week, when he still did the breakfast show. So I heard it five times that week before heading off to school. I thought it was Sparks the first time he played it. Most of the comments on the YouTube clip are about it sounding like Sparks.
Back in the days of vinyl, the cutting engineer would often cut his name or some other words into the vinyl in the gap between the innermost track and the label. On Side 1 of this album it says "MACS BY GRAVES" which was the working title for the album. On the front cover each member of the band is wearing A Mac(kintosh) Raincoat while standing in a graveyard. Presumably the photograph for the cover was taken before the title was changed to Digalongamacs. Those of a certain age will remember there being a whole series of albums by Max Bygraves which were called Singalongamax or something similar.
