Ally, I don't know who wrote this song, but it's earlier than you think. I used to sing it, as did the Embers in our silly youth days in the very early 60s... AHH! Bonnyrigg, Lasswade,Rosewell et al...
Best to you mate!

You're welcome Loz! With the scene really being before my time, I was able to make a lot of rock-family-tree type connections from the website.

Just finished listening to debut album, "The English Diaries" by Alyssa Bonagura. Seen her live and she was pretty good. She doesn't want to be another Sheryl Crow, but am inclined to compare positively (through being too knackered to articulate anything original), and give a quite impressive 8/10.

Loz, I was lucky enough to see Coldplay play the tiny Queens Hall a week before they headlined Glastonbury, a few years back. The place was packed with the undergraduate population of Edinburgh, and the atmosphere was electric. It transpired that the band were only playing this one-off gig in order to test the giant screens behind the low stage, necessary for the colossal crowd of the festival.

Presently being mesmerised by the arresting hip hop sermons in Angles by 21x21 heroes dan le sac v Scroobius Pip, 9/10 of course.

Haven't heard this for over 20 years since I packed my Vinyl away. What a truly gifted guitarist James Honeymoon-Scott was.
