Just in case some of the Brits haven't heard about this treat -
Harley Feinstein is bringing his band, Crash 74, all the way from California next week. Two gigs have been firmed up for London.

It’s a great chance for any of us Brits to see, in action, a key member of the first Sparks. You’ll be impressed by how smashing a drummer he continues to be. With all the energy of an electric storm, its no wonder this power horse was stable mates with Russell. Such a nice guy too.

On Thursday 30 May, its all happening at
http://bridgehouse2.com/

On Friday 31 May, tickets should be booked in advance for
www.12barclub.com

The news has apparently been circulating Facebook, so I thought I’d extend it to the Forum for fellow fans similarly deprived of an account. There’s going to be a few of us Sparks fans in attendance. If you’re near, come along.

How awesome is that? If I were in the UK I'd be there! As a drummer myself, I've always enjoyed him. Just yesterday, in fact, I was admiring his double stroke roll at the break in Beaver O'Lindy!

I think Harley's performance on the 2 first Sparks (incl. Halfnelson) albums are awesome and have always thought so since I first heard it many years ago.

For ex. in "Do Re Mi", "thundering" and fast...

Tonight's gig at the Bridgehouse is now cancelled, unfortunately, due to reasons belonging to the venue.

Friday's gig will go ahead as planned.
Tickets should be booked in advance for

We're planning to get to the venue for 8pm. Harley's band are scheduled to hit the stage at 10pm.

Hi - just saw this thread about Harley and Crash 74 so thought I'd stick this link to a review and photos from the gig at the 12 Bar. Yes, Harley did indeed "Rock London"...it was great...!

I'm working on Harley's interview too so that should be out quite soon, he gives a very interesting insight into the early Sparks years. Cheers, Steve
