kung fu-sharks(allright gota tell a story summer 1980 16 yrs. old peddalled my bike 12 miles to pick 2 sharks albums up in the discount bin because there name sounded like sparks 23 years later sat in line with my wife and 5 other sparks fans from all over the world as far as sweeden just to get a picture or a autograph from our heroes they got out of a cab i approached them and russell said they had no time total 7 people no time i love sparks but come on i invest thousands on ebay each year on sparks products costing me sometimes a divorce my wife is a m.d. so its not about the money we our good friends with the osmonds and the former world champion larry holmes was my best man at my wedding and they would all go out of there way to do anything for there millions of fans at anytime 7 people come on i worship ron and russell like gods much to my wifes discotent but have to admit i did not understand that still faithfully sparks

Interesting story. I think something you mentioned in your story is the root of the problem for many artists; ebay.

There are certain artists where I make it a point to arrive waay early to catch them before soundcheck and get a disc or photo signed. I'm usually waiting with a few guys carrying 20 albums or more that they have picked up over the last several months at estate sales or auctions. These guys wanting autographs are clearly trying to make a buck on ebay. What is an artist to do?

I will say Ron and Russell were very nice in 1982, they took time to sign and chat with Mrs. Buckeye and myself.

One solution. I heard a former athlete (Chris Spielman) say he signs everything for everybody. The reason is nobody can make money off of his signature because everybody has several of them.

big boy-sparks how about our bucks i also got to meet them in 1982 ripley music hall philadelphia 2003 summer stock central park got picture with both of them after sound check photo took by tammy glover however this night it was 7 diehardfans was supposed to be set up by there sound gut i believe very nice european gentleman clearly no autograph hounds among us we were dised im sorry to say the other people in the party just exused it by saying thats what makes them mysterious yes but still i felt bad for all of us and this just put a bad taste in my mouth that night and left the show halfway through but i still worship sparks for all there creativity and the fact that they are still going strong
