A fantastic show tonight, a fully fit Russell was absolutely on the money with the vocals, Orchestra were excellent, but not enough bells on Thank God it's not Christmas. The show started an hour late for some reason which didn't help the jet lag. A surprise guest, as Alex Kapranos sang My way with Russell, very well I might add. Roll on tomorrow. I need my pit now good night! Oh I nearly forgot Ron didn't fall over.

Wished I could've been there, especially after how amazing the sound was with orchestra at the London gig. There are certain special fans

in the US who I'd loved to have shared such a fantastic experience with. Russell

is awesome at full pelt, and definitely one of the greatest pop vocalists ever. Would've been a highlight for me to have seen the very likeable Alex Kapranos

on stage, for a song that was so important in the UK in the 90s. A taste of things to come, I certainly hope....!

I too wish I could have been at one of the shows but I'm so very happy for those who were there!
