Thanks! I've been longing all week to see this. Alex delivers this with real style and his voice and Russell's work together well.

I remember hearing this classy pop hit performed live in Edinburgh's Usher Hall in 95, and the synth backing was exquisite. Could I have imagined it being performed by two orchestras 20 years on to sell-out crowds? During that great night, seeing my heros really were my heros, for the first time, anything seemed possible - but did I have the imagination to foretell the future?

Probably Alex was there in the Usher Hall too, perhaps a row or two closer to the stage...

Well said. I think the collaboration is A Very Bad Thing indeed. Alex should stick to singing along with Sparks records in his bedroom. I just don't get why Ron & Russell think that a collaboration with a one-hit wonder from a few years back is a fruitful use of their time.

Franz Ferdinand have sold bucket loads of records including albums. One hit wonder is a bit of an understatement to say the least. Go check their record sales over the last 10-12 years.I know their last album didn't sell as many in the UK but it still entered the charts quite high.I watched Sparks facebbook page the other day and they gained close on an extra 1000 on the announcement of the tour. This is great for Ron & Russell and I am delighted for them. They deserve to be seen at loads of festivals by loads of people.

I am sure there is a strong sparks trademark coming along
with ffs and I do hope Russells voice will remain more in the
foreground (like in the teaser) ...so it might be a superb album (and shows)
