Once they start gigging and promoting the album I presume there'll be a more "commercial" track released as a single. Nice to have Hippopotamus and What The.... , but they are just teasers. August, can't wait.

as mentioned before I am not that much in that "single issue",
but the two songs published are great tunes, maybe art, but not just teasers!!

Maybe it's a false impression I've got, but has the new single had a lot less impact than the first?

Absolutely. Mainly suggesting that they've probably saved the "potential hits" for late summer when they can promote them properly.

Great choice for a single, although I'd say it's not a proper release unless there's a 7 inch and/or CD single!

How are they forming the Official Top 100 in the UK these days. Is it most plays and sales including downloads and Spotify streaming etc... ? Seriously I do not think i have checked out a singles chart for about 5 or 6 years its that old hat... Its all about the albums now for me any way...

its now combined to include all sales & streaming sales.
they also do lots of separate charts now including a vinyl singles chart! seems legacy acts can still have no.1s on that chart.
