The first review praises the new material and singles out Missionary Position as a future classic. Russell's vocals remain unchanged by time, but the vocal mix could have been better.

The seconds review is also positive. Only complaint was the guitars drowned out the keyboards, making the songs less varied.

Some complaints about the sound, details getting lost. Russell moves around like he's at least 20 years younger than his actual age. Sparks are one of the few bands who can mix material from different decades and get away with it.
It took the audience a while to get going, but at the end there was a great vibe, which should have been there from the start. It'll be interesting to hear the new album.
