On IE7, PAGE -> TEXTSIZE may need to be increased. Mine is on MEDIUM and it looks fine.

With IE6 i don't see any changes to the textsize. The only thing that changes is the empty space just above "Topic titles too small to read" becoming bigger or smaller if i do what is explained

Maybe this site has been made on a MAC with different brower in which it works fine and is adjustible???

I'm on a Mac, and it has the same problem. All the text is fine - normal size - except the topic titles - they are ultra tiny.

On Safari, my text is set to "normal size." If I switch it to "bigger," than the topic titles become bigger, but so does all the other text - making the other text TOO big.

I think its just a font that's not working - if they could try a different font there perhaps...

Same situation with Firefox - and on my old Mac I tried IE and Netscape with the same results there, too... :(

It might be the font-type but i don't think so.

Maybe it looks alright if you got a 22" monitor or if you're a 15 year old webdesigner with 20/20 vision

By no means are we getting (too) old.

Maybe it can be looked into with the next website clean-up/maintenance.

You're probably right. My monitor is only 21".

BTW - I just re-read my post above - and when I said "a font not working," I meant to say "a bad choice of font" in a nice manner...

Hey, one can't seriously use 8 px as a legible font size. At least try 10px (or better still, 11px)

Code:
I found this in the style sheet:

.topictitle         { font-weight: normal; font-size: 8px; color : #abb200; font-family: Courier, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }

Aha! So it's not just me. Still, the last post is dated 4/22 & it's now 5/19. I really miss this place.

Nope. Its definitely not just you. Here's a screen shot of my browser viewing this forum:

I'm on a Mac, and all my browsers show the same tiny unreadable size, whether it be Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox or Safari...

This looks like a regular phpbb 2.0 board, so it should be an easy fix. Someone here with admin access should be able to do the following:

--click on the "Go to Administration Panel" at the bottom of the page

--scrolling down the links on the left side of the Administration Panel, under the heading "Styles Admin," click on "Management" (this should take you to the page titled "Styles Administration."

--click on the "Edit" link on that page for the style "subBlack"

--near the bottom, there are three fields labeled "Font Size 1," "Font Size 2" and "Font Size 3." Make a note of the numbers already entered in there (under the "values" column) in case you need to go back to the previous settings. Ideally, these numbers should be:

Font Size 1: ................ 10
Font Size 2: ................ 11
Font Size 3: ................ 12

--change the numbers that need changing. It looks like the main suspect is "Font Size 2." I'm guessing that is the one set at "8" which is way too small.

--after you're done, then click on the "Save Settings" button on the bottom of the page

--you should then get a message saying "The selected theme has been updated. You should now export the new theme settings." Just ignore that and instead click on the link over to the left at the top - the one that says "Forum Index"

--check out to see if the new font sizes are okay - not too small, not too big. If they still need adjusting, go back to the "Style Administration" page and try a different number. You'll notice which of the three fields changes the various fonts...

Anyone trying out the new browser by Google Chrome (beta) will find out that certain parts of the site become even less readable than with IE. I suspect a plot again IE in favour of Firefox or Opera?

I just press Ctrl and scroll the scroll wheel.

That was a terrible sentence, but my brain isn't too keen on English today.

I like it... something from a dollhouse.

Just tested the forum again with Google Chrome but it's still wrong.

Yes, I tried Google Chrome and liked it, but the main reason I'm still using IE7 is the unreadable fonts on this site
