This has been my concern too Sjadey, but I'm hopeful R&R will, in any event, include a good mix of old favourites alongside the more obscure tracks in the final set .... especially as I'm sure there are gonna be a lot of people there who are fairly new to Sparks or who only ever really heard the singles way back! |

Don't worry guys - they'll have to doctor the vote (in the modern British media way!) - to remove all the obscure songs people have voted for that go well beyond what they rehearsed for the 21 shows.
My point being that people are entirely unrealistic if they think after rehearsing 250+ tracks right-to-the-wire for these shows, that they're gonna be either willing or able to learn/rehearse several more for the final show.
Thus, you can almost certainly rule out:
- Looks Aren't Everything(X7)
- Alabamy Right(X3)
- Where Did I leave My Halo(X2)
- V6 Jeans(X2)
- Chile Farm Farney(X2)
... and there's no guarantee of (though hopefully they WILL do these as encore songs):
- Singing In The Shower(X5)
- What Would Katherine Hepburn Say?(X4) |

Does this mean that Ant and Dec will be on stage "singing" Let's Get Ready To Rumble????....lol
I vaguely recall that the songs chosen will "form the basis of the encore"(either Russell said it or it's the caption on the index page)so there are bound to be a few core standards.I'm sure that in spite of this vote This Town will be played...come on....in all of reality I can't imagine Sparks show without it???
Then again Ron blew it up in The Ocean 
But we never can be sure of anything....and we also don't know which "obscure" songs they have actually rehearsed. |
