"The Scene" and "It's a song that sings itself" are part of my favourite songs too, if it was a top 20 they would've been part of my list.

Lots of good choices there, Simon, but isn't your 1st choice a wasted vote*? (As in, they'll never not play it? ;-)) ...
* That said I realise this vote doesn't count for anything!

Well, as has been remarked, this is an impossible task and any list can change by the hour, let alone the day. Missing out favourites that will almost certainly be played, here we go with:

1. Something for the Girl with Everything
2. Fletcher Honorama
3. Katharine Hepburn
4. Goofing Off
5. Talent is an Asset
6. Scandinavian Design
7. There's No Such Thing as Aliens
8. Photoshop
9. Sherlock Holmes
10. Wacky Women

Looking forward to the RAH at the end of next month.

Picking a top 10 is no easy task, but at the moment it’s this -

1. Change (always no.1 👍🙂)
2. Beaver O’Lindy
3. Unaware
4. Waterproof
5. The Rhythm Thief
6. The Toughest Girl In Town
7. Tryouts For The Human Race
8. Stravinsky’s Only Hit
9. Hospitality On Parade
10. Everybody’s Stupid

May as well get to it, though I grieve for all the worthy songs I had to omit

1. Goofing Off (a klezmer-experienced guest soloist would be a nice bonus)
2. Dick Around
3. Bon Voyage
4. Hospitality On Parade
5. I've Never Been High
6. Everybody's Stupid
7. Moon Over Kentucky
8. Mickey Mouse
9. Gone With the Wind
10. High C

Impossible task. My answers might be different tomorrow. I realize that there is a glaring absence of the 80s. And 90s. I love much of that music, but those songs are not in my top top top tunes. Many of you have chosen songs that are in Numbers 11-20. There are at least 87 songs that are in my Numbers 11-20. But for what it's worth, here are my top 10:

Lost and Found
My Baby’s Taking Me Home
Here Comes Bob
(Propaganda)/At Home At Work At Play
Thank God It’s Not Christmas
Here In Heaven
Waterproof
As I Sit Down to Play the Organ at the Notre Dame Cathedral
How Do I Get to Carnegie Hall
Nothing To Do

Kermit, I needed to mention Propaganda because I think it's an intro to AHAWAP, but please don't throw out my vote. Propaganda is just there for the visuals. You can disregard it. (But can anyone really disregard Propaganda?)

I almost put The Legend of Lil' Beethoven on my top 10 list. Does anyone else love that tiny little tune?

And Kakadu, too. It would be great in a Hitchcock film.

I've always considered the Propaganda intro to At home, at work, at play to be one song so rest assured waterloosunset, that's how it will be counted. I'm glad you've managed to post your interesting list at last. It's an impossible task I know & I understand the headache this has given many people but it's only for fun. I could have requested a top 5...imagine that???

Only another week to anyone who hasn't posted yet to get their votes in before the end of April. Special thanks to everyone who has endured the headache & got involved. The end result will be quite something to see even if it's just from all of us that use the Forum.

Yup, yup, yup, yup.

Also, everybody vote!! I may have changed my mind about the Top 10 since I put it down in cyberstone, but it would be fun to see what shakes out if a lot of people do submit their Top Ten.

I was driving back from physical therapy today, and Nothing To Do" came on. I thought, "Damn, I love that song. But did I put it in my Top 10? I'm stupid if I didn't." I opened this thread up to find that, happily, it sits at number 10 on my list.

I know that you are all happy that I shared.

Great list, Waterloo! Would love to see them do "Nothing to Do." I've seen a video or two of them doing "Lost and Found" and that one sounds great live.

Hopefully Ron would bring out the arm extensions for "Carnegie Hall."

You see, half of these songs could have been on my Top 10, and the other ones would be close. I'm actually annoyed at myself for not putting Tearing The Place Apart on my list, but I don't know what I would have bumped.

So there we have it!! Some big surprises there. I must say 'Goofing Off' is a well worthy No 1. An album track from an album that wasn't too well received at the time of release. I'm not surprised really as I think it was the one track over all the 2008 Spectacular that really tore the roof off.
Follow that with a totally random Top 10 full of Sparks at their ultimate best I think we can all agree but it's all up for discussion of course.
Thanks again everyone. looking forward to the release of the album & the Albert Hall! I'm going on the Tuesday so say hi if see me. Have fun!!

Well done Kermit...Goofing Off live is an utter joy...it sounds more rock orientated in a venue with the band behind it...

Thanks for putting the list together Kermit, and it's interesting to see the results. It's good to see Goofing Off so popular, and Fletcher Honorama too.
