Reading the Classic Pop interview that someone kindly put on line,it was interesting to read Russell's very diplomatic answer as to why they were with Island for such a short time.....obviously the label wasn't quite open to the challenging and experimental nature that we love
about Sparks....

I get the feeling that even after all the success of the Edgar Wright film,Annette and the recent albums they still have to fight for backing ....

I know little about Transgressive but hopefully they'll be receptive and supportive and relish having this group,on their books!

Welcome info on MAD! & what to expect on it. It does sound promising with mixed styles resonating from their whole career.
