I’ve just heard the very sad news that Mike Peters frontman of Welsh rockers The Alarm has passed away aged 66.

He died of blood cancer three decades after his first diagnosis.

I was lucky enough to see him fronting one of my childhood favourite bands Big Country a few years ago and he put his heart and soul into performing….
