Best concert I've ever seen, but hey, maybe next time it could go on a bit longer! (lol) Poor Russell, could you imagine him lasting another minute? He really gave it everything he's got and more!

10/10 ! are we all biased or what ? The person I sat next to at Leicester was a thoroughly decent chap as well.

I rated 10/10 for the performers last night (Amsterdam) because I immensely enjoyed the show. I was truly amazed by how powerful and consistent Russell's voice was - singing like that for two (almost) straight hours!

The audience, however..
I started to tolerate people lighting their cigarettes during the performance. But some people around me talked during songs! Now that annoys the hey out of me.

The gig at Amsterdam, I would give a 9/10 (all right this option doesn't exist.) But the complete experience was a 11/10 so we're back at 10/10.
And if you're not happy about your fellow audiences (probably no proper english that), follow Russel's advice: Next time, bring all your friends!!

My throat is still sore from (trying to) singing allong with most of that stuff. I used to be singer in a band aswell so i'm amazed by the way Russell seems uneffected by all that cigarettesmoke although some did smell a bit weety and yes during the introduction of the band there was this girl that talked all thru it in a loud voice

Yes, that's true! I knew most of the lyrics (phoneticly at leasy) but I could not keep up with it. When does Russel breathe? In between songs?

10/10 for all 6 gigs - with Gateshead getting the biggest 10/10, if you see what I mean.....

And re: fag smoke; I'm a none-smoker, but I've always believed in being tolerant of other people's habit, until this week! I've got countless small burns in my clothing, everything I own reeks of smoke and god knows how many fags I've passively smoked in a week of pubs and clubs! The non-smoking entertainer Roy Castle died of lung cancer due to inhaling other peoples' smoke during his long career - think about that next time you light up in front of Russell, you selfish lot.
Roll on the ban!

10/10 in Amsterdam! about the smoke: I'm glad that both Ron and Russell
are fanatic nonsmokers (or so I understand...) I never smoked in my life
and hate the idea of Russell breathing it all in...it's a miracle it did not effect his voice over all these years.

a definate 10/10 for both lowry and forum, talking about smoking in the second half in the lowry there was the distinct aroma of a spliff from somewhere behind me, how cheeky was that?
