Who are the hidden users, the moderators? How do you get to be hidden? And why would anyone want to be hidden?

You can acctually go to your profile and change that.
It says " Hide your online status" and you can say yes or no.
Why you want to do that? have no idea!!!!!!

I suppose it's so people with alter-egoes can look to see what mischief they can cause, before choosing the most apt ID!!!

Are there a lot of persons with multiple identities?! It's a bit scary, I mean if you can be someone nice and also someone bad. I think it's not good for their mental health. I prefer to relieve my pressure in some other ways than writing on a Sparks forum.

You would be surprised at what passes here missy. I can only deal with one identity to be honest and that is my own. I would get mixed up if I had several of them and to be honest, I got better things to do with my time.

There's only one of me too, Cali! I prefer it this way. Honesty, that's what counts IMO.

I often look on here without logging on. I appear as a guest. (for quickness)
Obviously, if I post something, I have to log on. I don't believe in the "hidden" factor. It could be Geri Haliwell or worse!!!

I also have friends who just "look".. they are not registered, so cannot appear as "hidden".. Or post.... It is, after all, open to the whole world.

Here's the freaky part... I also have an alter-ego! (But I rarely use it. And it would never be for abusive or negative purposes.)

I also have a huge life outside of this place. But I generally enjoy the camaraderie & banter that exists in this small piece of the Cyberworld.

Until tossers try to spoil it. And there are few who would seek to destruct..

I also have an alter ego. For the past 3 years I have been pretending to be a 19 year old australian. Ha!

I agree with loz. Generally this is a good place to be and I do love conversing with like minded people on here and I think the majority of folk on here are straight up. There's nothing wrong in having an 'alter ego' so long as it is not used to wind people up or cause trouble as generally seems to be the case just lately. I for one will not be so gulliable any longer.

I have also nothing against alter egos, if they are not insulting others or if it's a joke like FA's kimonomyhause! But if there are some who are good and bad at the same time... it's just my imagination going wild again! I believe that in general the persons using this forum are nice, well-behaving and quite intelligent!
