You are a wise man. That release still get played at my house, Ian's most rocking release since the Ronson era.
I just saw Ian last month open for J Geils, he still has the 'wow' factor.
I'm listening to....
David Johansen - Here Comes The Night (1981)

Be Bop Deluxe - Raiding The Divine Archives 8/10
The people compiling this 'best of' did a great job considering there weren't allot of mandatory tracks (hits) to include. They also tried to create a flow by the tracks not being in chronological order.
It isn't perfect..but..a Bep Bop fan not wanting to buy the entire catalog could do a whole lot worse than this. Also a small but informative booklet. _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |

I have that too. It's jolly good, although I prefer the 1978 compilation The Best Of And The Rest Of double vinyl gatefold album.

i like that the CD has two songs from the debut but the vinyl does include the essential title cut. Good info!
Question: who is a more under appreciated band than Be Bop Deluxe? _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |

The only band that comes to mind is Mink DeVille. Although I would say they're as under appreciated not more.
As far as solo acts, I'd say that Jason Falkner is as under appreciated as Bill Nelson. |

Bowie - Blackstar
Bowie at his best. Bowie at his death.
Probably one of the most poignant records ever made. |
