Dr Feelgood Malpractice LP and its fabulous.Gotta love Wilko and his style of playing. He was seriously bonkers back then with that haircut and strut and those eyes.He was magnetizing on stage a bit like a certain keyboard player we all know.10 stars for this bluesy album for definate.

Enjoying Noel Gallagher & His High Flying Birds' new single....but it so reminds me of something from the 70s (not She Bangs as some people suggested)

Now You're a Man- DVDA

It's difficult to rate this as DVDA are explicitly a comedy act (Matt Stone and Trey Parker for those not in the know). It's derivative being a parody of "hypermasculine" 80s rock songs, but catchy and funny. I mean, it rhymes "titties" with "titties" in a way R&R would be proud of...

The Time is Now- Moloko

Loved this song ever since it first came out. Love the instrumentation, love the vocals, love the arrangement. 10/10.

Saccharin and the War- Sparks

I don't know whether this or Pineapple is finest composition. Either way, a perfect 10. The melody is de-lectable.

The Factory- Halfnelson

I've heard it called the most inaccessible song in Sparks history, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Maybe this statement says a lot about me? 9/10.

I'm not exactly listening to this but I did just buy it at an antique shop. A 1970 promo copy of Mott The Hoople's American debut. The vinyl with white promo label is in great shape and album cover with promo sticker in very good condition except for some wear to the corners.

Framing it.

I rate this a 8/10.

Nothing to Do With Us- Jet.

M*rt*n G*rd*n's post- Ron Playing band for those not in the know (but who wouldn't be in the know here?). Seen them described as Sparks copycats, and this tune definitely has a Kimono My House vibe to it. It doesn't stop it being an absolutely belting late-glam tune though. Dig the synth at the end!

10/10

Cheers deadcalm love Fox and my favourite Fox track off that LP.Noosha looks fab as if she has just been to an art deco ball and crash landed into a space age party with that superb costume.Great memories of a truly wonderful band.Often wonder were she is now.
