Over 100 golden tickets? That's great news. I was fearing super sparse crowds for some of the shows like Interior Design. 100 people can make a good amount of noise and generate lots of enthusiasm.

I don't suppose I'm allowed to use profanity on here... so I shall refrain... but you know what I'm thinking.

What a bunch of wimps!

Consider the band - they're all in the same place too and doing soundchecks/rehearsals in the afternoons before the shows. No sign of them flagging and they probably have a few years on most of you!
(Hope that isn't the kiss of death for Russell's throat!)

I'm gonna kick your ass, when I stop coughing up a lung.

They are in the same space but not getting sweaty next to the infected or sharing buses/tubes and so on, they probably not sitting outside for hours before the venue opens.

I don't know about the rest of the infected but it has been nice to swap an occasional hello with the band members as they've wandered about - now I'll be wheezing at everyone to keep away!

I'm planning on spending most of Saturday in bed.

probably the same as me. Someone was complaining to me that they had to travel one whole hour to get home.

I think that 'Whomp' knocked whatever it was out of my system! Feeling much better today after a day off (just what I needed), raring to go for number 11 and onwards...

Got two tickets for tonight - but due to work 'problems' (i.e. I can't get away) I am still stuck in Wolverhampton and won't be able to get away in time to get to London.
I'd suffer a cold or aching limbs to be able to get down there instead of sitting with my tickets watching the PC..... bugger

To all those who do make it - have fun (I've managed 5 shows so far and will get a few more in before the end).

I'll make sure I cough in your direction Loz. You can't beat a bit of consumption.

I know you all can't because of the space available, but try leaping around like Russell every night!
Bet all you girls have sore legs due to wearing "heels", and I bet all you guys have sore backs! And none of you feel able to get up for work in the mornings!
Disclaimer... I did 3 shows and was almost hospitalised! But then, I'm as old as Ron. Oh... That wont work as an excuse will it?
Let's just big it up for the stamina of R&R!

Remarkably, after 11 gigs, my back seems to be holding out!

Also, forgot to mention earlier that Plagiarism is now completely sold out! Woo! Hoo! That's going to be amazing!

Could it have been something at the pub that put you in that condition?!
Just joking, powpowpow. Hope you'll make it to tonite's gig and all the rest as well.

Drat and double drat. Missed one.
Felt really ill (not The Cold but some sort of stomach thingy) and super-tired yesterday so had to make the painful decision to sacrifice 'Rabbits' for the greater good (ie not making myself worse).
I was *so* hoping to do the whole lot; very annoying.
Hope the more hardy had a good gig, see y'all on Tuesday.
Alison

nooo
this stomachy thing going round is a bit terrifying. i'm alright with the cold and cough, but i don't want anything else. there should be a quarantine section within the venue for the ill among us to sit and watch the show. maybe put a few sickbeds and things in there too..
a shame you had to miss one alison, get well for tuesday!

Hope you're feeling better by the next show. I had a strange "throat" thing going on last week, but now that I've got back to taking my vitamins, and I'm getting used to the air-con in the flat and standing/sitting in line for hours each day I'm feeling fine. Hope all you sick folks are 100% better for MYCDT Ron Playing

I'm also going to start wearing earplugs for the remaining nights. On top of the cold, my hearing has been really sensitive - even though it's not LOUD, there's still enough noise for my ears to be ringing just that extra bit longer each night, which is not cool.
