Of course, it's in my nature.

But I'll say it again. Really terrific.

Great gig.

Amazing gig.

I was just one divorce away from going for it.

Maybe it's an omen that I should vote for Marry Me for my long suffering wife.

Plagiarism is my least favourite Sparks album by a country mile......the one that almost never gets pulled out of its case and frequently sheds a few tears as yet another Sparks album slides into the CD player in its place.

But what an event tonight's show was! Without question the highlight of this incredible marathon so far!! I doubt whether Russell has ever sung SFTGWE as well as he did the first time around tonight.

I have to mention the contribution made by the musicians from Trinity College. Even though I think backing tapes were used, since it still sounded like a string section rather than soloists, they were clearly really going for it and added a heck of a lot to the occasion.

From what I could see on-line, the place was jam packed and I am so envious of all of you who made it to Islington tonight.

Sparks' greatest ever gig? It must have been amazing to be there. No other group could have done this. Genius. Brilliant.

Totally with you Jidlomonster on Plagiarism having never really struck a chord with me either but did really enjoy the renditions tonight of Rabbits, This Town (1), Change and Mother Earth. Wanted to go still but all the travelling was getting too much! Saving it for next Friday!

But couldn't agree that it's the best Sparks gig ever! Kimono My House/Lil' Beethoven at the Royal Festival Hall had it beat by miles!!
