Eve i noticed you said you were thinking of buying the Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius pip album-Angles..It is really brilliant-go and treat yourself.Heck i am so pleased they supported Sparks.Had already seen them on television, and had done some youtube surfing. But seeing their performance on the Propaganda night that was it.The album is easily the 2nd best album i have heard for ages. This bloke is a lyrical heavyweight.

Kev/Alex- Don't be afraid of mansculpting.
Whilst we love you as you are there is something to be said for guys watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Hi Deano.
Just waiting on the paycheque and it'll be in my greedy little hands. I've added them to myspace

The le Sac vs. Pip album is quite good.
Bought it yesterday, simply because I found it at the record store.

I heard that..how very dare you?...I find you impertinent...Mother and I have been coming on these boards for 25 years and have never been so insulted..how very very dare you..just because a man moisturises and owns the Barbara Dickson back catalogue you accuse him of Deleted for pre-watershed viewers...Come on Leonard,we're off!!

I'm 100% with you on that one Eve. Macho never works for me. Unless it's Marlon Brando in Streetcar Named Desire... I can make an exception for that!

Is it terrible to say this? But I just washed all memory of the support acts from my mind. None of them that I saw (at the 7 gigs I went to) made an impression on me, it was just killing time till Sparks came on.

Well, I tell a lie, some made an impression but it wasn't a good one. I find support acts, for the most part, an odd phenomena anyway. And I imagine being a support act feels pretty odd too. I mean knowing that most people (if not all) are not there to see you and that many are just waiting till you get off so they can see who they came to see.

Occasionally you can be surprised by a support act and really enjoy them but, for me at least, this is a rarity.

There is a 10min profile of Essex hip-hop dance duo Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip on (UK) Channel 4 on Friday night at 1.05am. Technically that's Saturday 19th July 2008. (VIDEOplus+ code 4518180)

Rod Thomas, what style, what talent, what shaky eggs. A legend in his own lunchtime, sorry lifetime. Look out for his forthcoming 21 Nights At Wembley Arena eggstravganza this autumn.
