That's not how I remember it - quite the reverse, in fact...

This is just perfect!! At 21x21 I saw Kimono, Propaganda, Indiscreet, Lil' Beethoven and Hello Young Lovers. Number One In Heaven was definitely the album I most wanted to see besides those ones, and now I have the opportunity. And it's on a Saturday night! If it was any other night I wouldn't be able to go because of work!

I wonder if they will be playing the same "selection" at both gigs or if they will be different?

If Morrissey likes the song-which i seem to remember Russell saying so on a recent radio interview, then maybe he could be very gently persuaded to star in the video. That would be worth seeing.

Why would you want someone as boring as Morrisey to be involved with the two greatest musical talents ever?

Maybe to get a higher chart position and shift a few more copies of Exotic Creatures,to gain more fans, get more exposure, appeal to Morrissey's mass army of dedicated fans-that could possibly be my reasoning.Boring or not he sells snow to eskimos mate.

That's certainly true. All 8 of his solo albums were top 10, including three which reached No 1...

What fantastic news to cheer up a cold miserable January. Me and my other half will be there. My apologies to anyone who has to stand behind him. At 6ft 4, I may have to get him to duck down a bit :-). Looking forward to this now especially after missing the last set of gigs.

Does anybody know of any cheapish hotels nearby?? Ron Playing

I've stayed at the Howard Winchester a couple times and it's not bad. Great breakfast too. It's only a couple tube stops away from the Forum.

Do you need to book twice or can you book both nights on the same transaction (i.e. only 1 lot of card charges) ?

I got 2 tickets for Friday through See Tickets and Saturday through Ticketmaster (don't ask!).

If you go through Ticketweb you can add to basket and overall I could have saved £2 if I'd done it this way www.ticketweb.co.uk

Hope this helps and that if you save £2 you'll buy me a t-shirt and a beer at The Forum

Re this printing-out-your-own-ticket thing - I may be being naive, and have a rollicking good laugh if I am, but what's to stop people printing out / photocopying multiple 'tickets' and flogging them....? I know sellers may save on postage, but what will this cost in fraud...?

They each have a unique barcode that will only scan once. You are right they can be printed in muliples by touts. But I think anyone buying a printed out ticket from a tout would be being very naive. So the message is DON'T!

Also the saving isn't much different to postal charge.

Providing you were the first person to have that unique barcode scanned at the door, you would get in using a duplicate ticket!

Mmh all sounds a bit hit and miss relying on chance and timing...not that touts would worry...but as was said earlier who in their right mind would by a print-out bar code from a tout.....hookey tickets are a big enough risk!
