Talk abut dreams come true...
I'm going to see Sparks (my favourite ever band) play Kimono My House (the album my first girlfriend leant me that got me into Sparks) with TV Smith (my favourite ever singer-songwriter) and Gaye Advert (my... uh! Err... Punk icon and TV Smith's special friend). 
It don't get much better than this.
You watch the next thing Mott The bloody Hoople will be reforming!!!

Last year we went to the No. 1 gig. It was the day after our rugby team had won the european cup in Cardiff and rounded off a great weekend.
I got two friends to come with me. I thought they enjoyed it so I sent them the news of the new gigs.
When we met up on Friday they said they were on for it. As a joke I asked 'one night or two' and they said both!
So, flights and tickets booked, here we go! |

EEEEKK and OMG! I just can't believe that I have a bunch of papers in my cold, white and sweaty hands: plane tickets, hotel reservations and tickets for the Saturday show...THIS IS JUST TOO MUCH: NOW I'M GOING TO FAINT!!!

We have tickets for the Kimono gig on Friday, yee haa!
My husband is in a wheelchair and the Forum look to really take care of patrons with disabilities, to the extent we only haver to pay for ONE ticket, only wish other places were so enlightened, MEN Arena take note!
We are Sparks gig virgins, is there any etiquette we should know about, or is that missing the point entirely? |

I have my plane tickets, hotel and tickets for both shows ! (via ticket fast - hope there will be no troubles at the door of any kind - never used self-printed tickets before, but I think it's very convenient !)
Do you think Majken will be there too?
Would be sooo great to see both of you again !!!!

Present on both nights!
Got a place to stay at 5 minute walk from the venue - Queens Hotel near Tufnell Park Tube - it ain't much both it's cheap and it's got a bed.
Probably coming in by train, it seems to be a bit cheaper and less time wasted. Get that sorted tomorrow.
