Sparks to play at the end of the show on Friday 20th March.

I assume this is recorded on a Wed / Thursday night for Friday transmission ?

Usually repeated late on a Saturday night ?.

Which means I miss it both nights !

The BBC i-player replay system is well worth looking into!

Now that Tom Cruise is rumoured to have turned down the J Ross Show along with many other "PC big names"...the beeb might be persuaded to change his show's format....and give us a whole show dedicated to a particular artist, kicking off with Sparks..an hour of music, chat, japes(nothing too risque)etc...mind you they won't be able to play "I Can't Believe You Would Fall For All The Crap In This Song!" or Mr. Ross will be banned again for having naughty words on his show....

Lol. It wouldn't surprise me if that were true.

Eric, my thoughts exactly. You wait for God knows how long to see the "boys" on television, and, when they are, we are out watching them live. But that's the way it always seems to be.

Enjoy the Friday and Saturday. I'm sure I will.

Old man luddite here moving into the 21st Century a little bit late....

So I shall be Sky +ing the show but will probably record a rerun of Friends.

Also just discovered the joys of an ipod in the last couple of weeks. Amazing invention but can't work out where the cassette goes in. Have "downloaded" (get him!) the last 3 albums into a "playlist" and now have little white things hanging out my ears like everyone else! Nearly got run over by a van this afternoon half way through Suburban Homeboy

When you put it away, did you not replace it with some other recording device? You could always get the VCR out again! You could connect your PC to your TV then watch iPlayer on TV like normal.

It is in a cupboard so I could re install but that means leaving switched on for a 3-4 day period when I am away - I dont leave anything on stand by these days so that is ruled out.

Did not invest in a dvd recorder either - no time to watch what is on normally - without recording hours of other stuff.

Luckily I have now persuaded a friend to record the JR show for me.

I wish Ron and Russell were gonna be interviewed on the Jonathan Ross show as well as performing.

I would like that also-but beggars can't be choosers.I am just delighted that they are on the JR show once again. He gets some stick for his football-soccer dressing room humour, but at least when it comes to Sparks he is a good egg.

Alex-was it the daily mail that printed a photo of Richard O'Sullivan recently as if it were some dramatic story that he is 60 odd years old,and is suffering ill health due to smoking and drinking heavily.Shock horror actor looks old because of past lifestyle.Poor old soul-last thing he needs is for some sad old tw_t hijacking him whilst he goes to the paper shop.Great bit of photography mate.I see JR is back this week..

Fortunatley, people like me who are only going to the ECOTD/No. 1 In Heaven Night won't miss this when it's broadcast, but they should have put Sparks out at a more convinient date!
