This is just a bit of fun to help tie us over til the next bit of Sparks news, Ive not included re-issues (with the exception of the Sparks / Halfnelson album) or compilations as it would take forever. Feel free to share with us what you voted for and why folks.....

Okay, I'm just talking album covers here - Big Beat.

I would not classify the album as my favorite, but I think the guys both look stunning in black and white and it kind of personifies them for the period.

I like Interior Design.
The cover reminds me of the American way of life.
Lets get in your get your car and travel the older highways.
(forget traveling the interstates)

I don't know I just love the cover.

Has anyone else noticed that towards the end of the first 'Wayne's World' movie they use the exact same pool scene backdrop as the back sleeve of 'Indiscreet'? Haven't seen the film for a while and am sure I wasn't drunk when I made the comparison!

Hmmm... I'm the first to vote on "Whomp that Sucker". The cover is hilarious... maybe too obviously I admit.

I was also inclined to go on Indiscreet, but the one with the car crash.

Both covers describe perfectly the albums titles.

Indiscreet.

Joy Oh Joy, LB is easily avalaible here as a import.

As part of the most recent Flashmob silliness here in Melbourne, ppl with a certain month of birth had to go into HMV and ask for cassettesingles.

I quickly got bored with bewildering the young assistant and went off in search of CD's. And there it was. Oh Joy Oh Joy! Slightly made up for the loss of The Man In Black that day. Today Slim Dusty went to meet him. I love Sparks, and country music too. Not fair losing two in a week. LB dulled the pain somewhat. Off to raise a beer or two for Johnny & Slim.
