Reading the 'list of gigs' thread elsewhere made me think about the support bands that have played for Sparks. I liked very much the Bad Terrorists from one of their 21x21 gigs. And I remember a Kraftwerk-styled band for their December 1997 London show. Didn't Billie Ray Martin support them on their December 1995 London show? And didn't Ron play on one of her songs? At that gig, I remember the auditorium music being old advertising jingles.
Any other memorable support bands over the years?

Most memorable support acts I can remember:

Nov 74 (or might have been Oct 75) in Glasgow the support was Pilot. I think at the time both bands were in the charts and Pilot were higher.

March 1995 tour - Fintribe were great.

June 2008 Pulling Rabbits gig - Young Knives were awesome.

In 1975, at the Liverpool Empire, Sparks were supported by ex-Bay City Roller Ian Mitchell's Rosetta Stone. Wikipedia suggests Rosetta Stone formed in 1976 from a band called Young City Stars. But I'm 99.9% sure it was Rosetta Stone as support.

Sparks were supported by Gerling for their show in Melbourne in 2001.
