I cannot wait to see them play live again for only my 3rd time ever!

What tracks would you like to hear they didnt do last time?

Some of my dream tracks would be:

Shes Beautiful So What?
Music That you can dance to
Madonna
How are you getting home?
Those Mysteries
Goofing Off

A Sparks gig in Norwich back in 1997 was my first gig I went to, saw them again on the Balls tour (seems like it took forever for the album to come out after that tour) then saw them again on the Lil Beethoven tour. The last time I saw them was on the 21x21 though I could only manage to get to see them once for the Propaganda album (the first album of theirs I bought)

Songs I would like to hear are as follows:
When I Kiss You.....
Lets Go Surfing
Ride ‘em Cowboy
Equator
Thank God its not Christmas
Fletcher Honorama
Moon Over Kentucky
It's Educational (for the disco encore)
Underground
Tryouts for the Human Race (for the disco encore)
Angst in My Pants
Eaten by the Monster of Love
Scheherazade
Brenda is Always in the Way

Finally - How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall – just to see how the hell Ron plays it live.

I think most of these would work in a stripped down format, what do you think?

I'd love to hear Equator, and let Russell go nuts at the end

Lots of good suggestions from Jason d (especially Fletcher Honorama, Thank God It's Not Christmas and Ride Em Cowboy). I'd also like to hear I'm Not and I've Never Been High in the stripped-down format.

Something from the first two albums (Slowboat / Girl From Germany)

Perfume and Looks Looks Looks would be good again (Bush Hall exclusives, if I recall)

Still imagine how When I'm With You would sound, even though it was reported it didn't work

Agree with those who have suggested I've Never Been High and Goofing Off

I'm trying to pick songs I think would work well in this format, but one of my favourite things about the last tour was seeing Sparks convert some unexpected (and complicated!) choices and delivering them with the same vigour and energy in the stripped down format. The Rhythm Thief was the perfect example of this, I never would have expected such a complicated, multi-layered song to work in a stripped down way - but the Two Hands One Mouth version was flawless. It still maintained that complicated nature and the 'full' sound of the studio version.

I mainly would like to see them play songs that I've not seen them do before, since they have so many!
So with that in mind, here are my initial choices:

How Do I Get To Carnegie Hall? (Just imagine Ron's keyboards on this)
B.C.
Goofing Off (I love a good singalong)
As I Sit Down To Play The Organ At The Notre Dame Cathedral
Bon Voyage
Moon Over Kentucky

I would also love to see I Married Myself make a return to the setlist, it was sublime at Bush Hall.

Just been flicking channels and came across a Fairport Convention anniversary gig on NOW on BBC4 - venue Union Chapel, Islington! Looks very ornate and lovely, smallish stage, but a fair sized venue.

Union Chapel is very intimate. It's all seated, on pews. There is a raised pulpit in the middle of the stage. The stage is only about a foot above the floor. There are no stage curtains. It's almost like seeing them in-the-round. It's octagonal and there is a big round stained glass window above and behind the stage. It's tiny compared to Shepherd's Bush Empire but probably bigger than Islington Academy. The Academy is all standing, so you could probably get more people in it than the Union Chapel, which is all seated, although it does have a balcony.

Thanks, SJadey! I also noticed the front row of pews is knee-touchingly close to the stage. Will also be nice to re-visit Islington 5 years on :)

Nice if they will come back to Södra Teatern in Stockholm again.

There are many songs I would like to hear (in THOM format aswell as in more "traditional style")

..but for THOM format (if not allowed any of the ones they performed latest time at Södra Teatern 2012):

for ex..

Slowboat
Fletcher Honorama
Bon Voyage
The Lady Is Lingering
La Dolce Vita
With All My Might
Change (in the style of Dee Vee Dee)
The Ghost Of Liberace
Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil
The Angels
She's Beautiful So What (would be nice if that great song will be officially released some day)
I Married Myself
I've Never Been High
We've Got To Turn Him 'Round

That was a few..many slower and calmer and not that "rocky" tunes
I really like even their faster tunes but in the THOM format I think the not so fast tunes fits better though it's also nice to hear some of the faster ones in THOM format.

Anything that Sparks wants to play. I would be happy just to see them live. My wish is going to come true on October 27.

Bryan read my mind. MiniPop The Maels have been at this for awhile; so, whatever line up they prepare is sure to be the best one. 10 more days!
