Good podcast, really sets the scene. 22 songs, an overture, working on it since April... New album, "Change"? Some great tit-bits in there... The sparks section is at 22.43, btw! Not long to wait now...

I think he says "encore." (Meaning the second half?) I've listened a couple of times now, and I think he's just mistaken Re: Change. (Not being a total Sparks nut!) But, we can assume that LTMD & Change are in the second half. He just assumes it's from a new album maybe, after all he did say Dick Around was pre-YouTube, it ain't that old! ;-)

There are at least a few different ways to interpret this, but here's what he says:

"...'This Town,' and that's totally different from, you know, The Encore, which I think is coming out on their new album, Change."

My preferred interpretation is that the encore -- meaning the very last part of the show, not just the second half -- is going to be a song or songs from their new album, which might be called Change.

It's also possible he was about to say something about the song "Change," but got cut off. So the new album might not be called Change.

It could also mean that the whole second half of the show is going to be released as an album called Change? It'd be kind of a cross between Plagiarism and Two Hands One Mouth, so I kind of doubt they'd do that.

Also possible that there's a new song called "The Encore" that will be featured on their new album?

He's been working Ron and Russell on this for a while, so I'd like to think he knows what he's talking about regarding a new album, but who knows.

Sounds Like a massive amount of Time and Energy has been spent on it. They are deff not Winging it on the Night..
My First Impression was He said off the "New Album Change" a new song would be played Maybe "Encore" ..
