Earlier this year I completed a 'Sparks' inspired album. If anybody has any free 'leisure time' (see what I did there) I would appreciate any thoughts :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G3DS_ZjhD8

1. Induction to the Exit

2. Random Mongoose - inspired by 'Hippopotamus'

3. The Top Shelf Report - 'Photoshop' and 'Don't Leave me Alone With Her' vibes in this one

4. Apart from the Iceberg, How Was Your Trip? - heavy 'Bon Voyage' influence

5. Where Did That Come From? - inspired by 'What the Hell Is It This Time?' and 'She Got Me Pregnant'.

6. Dusting For Prints - loosely based around 'B.C.'

7. The Waltz of Dilemma - written with 'Simple Ballet' in mind

8. King Kong and the Land of the Giants - inspired by 'Angus Desire' from my favourite Sparks album 'A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing'

9. Light's Out - influenced by 'I Married a Martian although I fear I unintentionally ripped off 'Nothing to Do'. No 'Plagiarism' intended :)

Ron and Russell continue to be one of my biggest musical influences and after listening to their latest album it's already sparked (no pun intended) some new ideas.

Thanks in advance

This would have been good as the support for Sparks current tour.

Wow thank you very much for the kind feedback. It would be a dream come true to open for Ron and Russell. Not quite sure I'm on their levels of genius just yet but talent is an asset as someone once said
