Love the B-sides and interview on Propaganda, but I voted for Big Beat with its six bonus tracks for good measure; plenty to enjoy there. _________________ 21Mar09 • 28Oct09 • 13Jun12 • 22Oct12 • 1Dec13 • 19Dec14 • 26Aug15 • 19Sep17 • 20Sep17 |

I'm on the same boat; although I find that album too slick for my liking it has some really great b-sides. |

Hard one stalling decision. Some bonus tracks were so energising examples of pop perfection, its bewildering how they missed the albums. In fact, its bewildering how some of them weren't released as A-sides. Having heard much of these bonus tracks in the (now unthinkable) years of ignorance pre-internet, but long after the 70s, I had assumed the following were hits:
Kimono My House - Barbecutie and Lost and Found
Indiscreet - Profile
Propaganda - Alabamy Right (can't now recall whether I imagined an enigmatic hit or manifesting as standout album track).
For a golden period, Sparks evidently couldn't produce anything other than dazzling records. Indicative, it now is easy to conclude, of the breathtaking brilliance to follow. |

I like the bonus tracks on Big Beat as much, if not more, than the album itself! _________________ I like clubs

I think the site has been hacked! See the hyperlinks in the posts from the two alleged newbie members above.
Maybe hacked is the wrong word, but both posts contain links to gambling sites. _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

My favourite bonus tracks are on Kimono. Barbecutie and Lost and Found could easily have stood up in their own right as A-sides. Unconventional lyrical content aside, they both had hit potential all over them!
In fact, I think I'll go listen to them right now. _________________ Horatio ~ the future Mr. Mael ~ Peace, love and
