I agree with Eddy that it's not that great. There's a clever idea behind it (as with most Sparks songs) but it's a bit of a filler song to me. |

The work of a genius! It works on several different levels. However, the impression everyone gets is that its about a sense of frustration. Fitting it is then that its a very uncomfortable song to listen to. Unfortunately that means that people tend not to like it. For my own interpretation of the song, the music absolutely matches what I think the lyrics are portraying.
Who else in the pop world would ever have the courage to craft a song like that, I've been restlessly wondering for the last fifteen months. Breaking the mould... |

I think it's brilliant, the highlight for me is Russell's voice. His vocal harmonies on it sound amazing, I always have to sing along!
The lyrics are also brilliant. It's just great all round I feel, I think it's a shame that it's a tad underrated. |

I love the nervous freedom of the piano, I love the intense and harmonious bridge, Russell's voice, the lyrics, the abrupt ending, everything. Don't know if it's underrated. But surely it doesn't deserve to be underrated. _________________ Entertainment or art - one should know from the start |
