Yeah I've seen that and I wonder what it could be... maybe extra-shows somewhere, like they did in Australia 2 years ago? |

Oh, l don't like teasers...or anticipation....or surprises.....or waiting!
I may have to go to bed now......but then l'm wondering, what tomorrow are we talking about?
Mine? (which will start about 8 hours ahead of theirs)......
Time for some yoga and deep breathing......😂 |

First ever EP release from Sparks, MADDER! Is a companion to their record-breaking 28th studio album MAD!, which gave them their career-best UK chart position (#2, May 2025). The EP follows on the tail of their rapturously received tours of Europe and Japan, and is announced just ahead of their North American dates. Released on CD, black 10" vinyl and limited edition 10" picture disc.
Release Date: October 3, 2025 |

Thanks for the heads up, Simon. I wonder what the track list is! Live recordings from the shows, perhaps? _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

Good question Spyke.. Yes, some live recordings from the shows would be nice or tracks which never made the album? It will hopefully all become clear tomorrow. :-) |

New tracks rather than live recordings - what an unexpected bonus! Sparks really know how to treat their fans well! _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |

I'm still in shock, I sooo wasn't expecting this!
Am I the only one to think about "The Toughest Girl In Town" lyrics when listening to "Porcupine" ?
The music is not bad at all but the lyrics are pure gold. |

I think nearly all the women in Sparks songs are fairly prickly characters....but of course there's always another layer to them.....😂
I do like Porcupine and l will be getting the E.P. but l'm waiting for the next Sparks song that will leave me open mouthed and speechless with awe......l feel they have something really experimental just around the corner.... |

If you had to put up with the crap that the men in many Sparks songs try to pull, you'd be prickly too.
Yes, I was also reminded of Toughest Girl. The song is definitely growing on me: pre-ordered! |

Ah Judes.....l think that most of the men in Sparks songs are a little sad and ineffectual and need a hug to bolster their confidence......but that's a WHOLE other topic...😅
This one is growing on me too and l'm intrigued by what's coming next..... |

I wonder if they'll eventually release a combined edition of MAD! and MADDER! Perhaps they can call it MADDEST!? |

Crabby... indeed it is a whole other topic, probably not one for this thread! (I'm fascinated by the presentaton of masculinity in Sparks songs. Yes, some of them need a hug, but many of them seem so out of touch with their emotions that they could do with some serious therapy!) |

I tend to think of the men in Sparks songs as “ get your heart broken, mumble and grumble a bit thin pick yourself up and head off to the next encounter with an unwarranted degree of optimism”!
Oh no wait…that’s just me I’m talking about 🤣 |
