Under the Table With Her should present no challenge, as Ron will just need to use an orchestral strings patch. However, It Ain't 1918 will be "interesting" without a real fiddle. I wonder if one of the band members can play one...?
Looks Looks Looks should be fun too... |

Well, according to his website, Mike Piggott doesn't have a gig tonight... |

Hospitality On Parade and Happy Hunting Ground.
...There's only one or two things in the world I'd miss The Apprectice for.

Just been watching "Under The Table..." (my favourite Sparks song???), thanks to the live stream. Amazing performance of band and chamber orchestra. Unfortunately I missed the first 3 nights, but Propaganda was great, and so far Indiscreet seems even better? Back to the stream!!! |

Amazing.
This really looks like a set I should have caught live.
At least I did catch a lot of it in the mid 70's. _________________ Reaction

Another great night, but I still think last nights performance has out done any others (so far) _________________ when shit turns to gold, the poor will be born without arseholes |

This is my favourite Sparks album, and I love it so much I'd hoped I wouldn't be disappointed. I should have known better. Sparks raise the bar once again. Do it without a real brass or string section? Not the Maels!!! Never thought I would ever see Under The Table With Her done live, but how good was that?? Russell gets better with each passing night - as does his suits. Ron was, er....well....Ron. This was joyous from first note to last - I simply cannot put into words how much I enjoyed it. Pineapple and Tits the highlights for me - followed closely by the rest. Once again the audience sang every word, and everyone on stage (including the string section) seemed to really be enjoying it. They even threw in oneof their best non-album tracks as a bonus. I need that night off tomorrow to recover, and I'm only watching online!!!!!!!!!

How impressive was that?!
The recreations of the songs was probably the best I've ever heard from Sparks. Just amazing. _________________ David Alston. |

Wow, that was stunning. Horns for Get in the Swing and Looks^3, string quartet + recorder for Under the table, and a fiddler on 1918 - this was a big, grand package. I like Propaganda as an album more, but, well - this show might have changed that.
And BIG THANKS to all involved in getting the webcasts up for these shows!!! |

That was excellent. Really top notch. It was so nice of Russell to get the audience to sing Happy Birthday to those three band members. |

Really impressed with the performance. And indeed the streaming. Hadn't watched until tonight and was really surprised by the quality. Thought it'd be much worse. |
